Scout:
Cost: 100 Food
Hit Points: 60
Attack: 3
Armor: -
Range: -
Speed: Fast
Notes:
The scout is the first cavalry unit you will be able to create. It is rather expensive for what it does and you should only build them if it is absolutely necessary. The scout can be taken out by a couple of villagers.

Chariot:
Cost: 40 Food, 60 Wood
Hit Points:100
Attack:7
Armor:0
Range:-
Speed:Fast
Notes:
High resistance to conversion;
Double attack vs. Priests (whoever would be using them?)
The chariot is a fast hand to hand unit and is not huge in cost. By the time it is available to you, you should be able to afford a few of them.

Cavalry:
Cost:70 Food, 80 Gold
Hit Points:150
Attack:8
Armor:0
Range:-
Speed:Fast
Notes:
+5 attacks vs. Infantry.
The next thing up from the Scout. It is no where near worth the cost of that much gold in the early stages of the game. Later on though you will have the option of better units. It would be better to buy 2 Chariots.

Heavy Cavalry:
Cost:70 Food, 80 Gold
Hit Points:150
Attack:10
Armor:1
Range:-
Speed:Fast
Notes:
+5 attacks vs. Infantry.
+1 armor against missile weapons, Heleopolis, Ballista.
Not a vast improvement on its predecessor but is the same price. Good for defending you village from mass infantry attacks. You can best use them by spreading half a dozen around your base to take out the enemy that get into your village and try to kill your villagers.

Cataphract:
Cost:70 Food, 80 Gold
Hit Points:180
Attack:12
Armor:3
Range:-
Speed:Fast
Notes:
+5 attacks vs. Infantry.
+1 armor against missile weapons, Heleopolis, Ballista.
This unit is the besr value for the money but you have to advance quite a way to get it, even then it's not available to most civilizations.

War Elephant:
Cost:170 Food, 40 Gold
Hit Points:600
Attack:15
Armor:0
Range:-
Speed:Slow
Notes:
Trample damage to adjacent units; Attack strength not upgradable. These thing are brick in hand to hand combat. Just rush them into enemy troops and watch the carnage...Their high expense is worth it when later in the game it may not have such a huge damaging effect on your economy. If however you are low on resourses then make foot troops by the ton, not this "little" baby.
